Description
The HomeVault S2 from Chubbsafes is a high security burglary-resistant safe. It has been designed to secure cash, valuables, jewellery and watches.
The external dimensions of the S2 are 500 x 385 x 385 mm (H x W x D) with the internal dimensions being 489 x 374 x 315 mm (H x W x D). It has an internal volume of 58 litres.
With its modern design the HomeVault is ideal as either a home or office safe.
Internal Features
The HomeVault Series comes supplied with a fully lined carpet interior. It also comes with a soft leather effect mat that is designed to protect your watches and jewellery from damage.
An internal automatic light is provided which helps with the visibility of items, It can be recharged by USB port and can be moved into your preferred location.
Certification
S2 Burglary Protection – All sizes on the HomeVault series have been certified in accordance with European Standard EN 14450 to burglary resistance Level S2.
Insurance Approved – The HomeVault has also been approved by the Association of Insurers (AiS).
Sold Secure and Secured by Design – It has been certified to Silver Standard by Sold Secure. Along with approval from Secured by Design – Police Preferred Specification – (Chubbsafes holds SBD Accreditation)
Locking Type – Electronic lock
The Chubbsafes HomeVault has an electronic code lock (EN 1300 certified Class B). The lock has allows the end user to create a 6 digit pin code to gain access.
The batteries of the electronic code lock can be replaced from the outside. An electronic code lock is very reliable and you have no risk of key loss or unattended duplication of keys.
Construction
The HomeVault has been constructed with a steel body and door, the internal hinges also provide extra security from potential attacks. Anti-Drill protection on the door also adds on an extra level of protection. The fixed hinge bolts have the diameter of 25mm.
The handle provided on the HomeVault is a 3 spoke vault style handle, the interior of the safe has been finished with a fully lined carpet interior to protect your valuables from scratching and being damaged. The weight of the HomeVault is 49kg.
Installation
In terms of installation, the safe comes with pre-drilled fixing holes in the base and rear of the safe. A fixing kit is included with each safe, Chubbsafes recommend the safe to be installed into a concrete floor where possible.
